They manufactured my steel building and
had it delivered in 2 weeks. I was skeptical at first, but they really
backed up their promises.
I’ve actually referred 3 of my friends who’ve also bought buildings.
They even saved me $3,500 buying direct.

I was able to buy direct from the
factory and get a quality steel building for the same price as a pole
barn. The building showed up on time; in fact, it was actually 1 week
early.

I purchased three mini-storages and was
able to save about $35,000 on the project buying direct from the
factory.
Their erector installed the buildings quickly and efficiently. The
entire process from start to completed building was about 3 months.

At first, I wasn’t sure they were going
to be able to deliver on their promises.
My friends thought I wasn’t ever going to see a building delivered to my
job site.
In the end, the building price stayed the same, and I actually received
it early. I was in constant contact with my sales rep and really
appreciated their help.

Steel Building Foundations
|
When you plan to go in for a prefab steel
building, you should also have its purpose
completely defined. Depending on this, the type of
foundation for your building can be decided upon.
Since this is such a big decision for the building,
you should be sure of what you are doing. A
foundation is perhaps the most important part of the
building that actually gives it stability and gives
it strength. Therefore the importance of the
foundation for the building should not be
underestimated. In general, there are two types of
foundations that are used for prefab steel buildings
– the portable foundation and the permanent
foundation. This classification is very broad in
nature and there can be lots of variation within
each type of foundation. However, you should know
what each type really means.
Portable foundation, as the name suggests, is
generally used for portable buildings like cabins
that you might want out of prefab steel structures.
Though this isn’t as strong as permanent foundation,
it is quite sturdy nonetheless. Using anchor belts,
the base plate is connected to the concrete
perimeter and the steel building is then assembled
on top of this industrial plate. There are many
advantages and features of a portable foundation.
There is no loss of the height of the building due
to portable foundation. The most important advantage
is that the steel building can easily be moved to
another location. In addition, the time required for
construction is significantly less in case of
portable foundation than for permanent foundation.
The process of construction is also simpler for a
portable foundation. For a permanent foundation, it
is very difficult to move the building to a new
place and is generally the more used type of
foundation for homes and industrial applications,
since the building doesn’t need to be moved to a
different place and also because there can be higher
loads on the building. |
